Buy Michigan First was created to encourage Michigan businesses, including underrepresented vendor groups, to register with the State as vendors and bid on more than 1,100 contract opportunities worth billions of dollars.
The State of Michigan Bid System
The Department of Management and Budget (DMB) Purchasing Operations have implemented the State of Michigan Bid System. Companies interested in doing business with the State will have access to all State Departments and many Community Colleges’ bid information from the State of Michigan Bid System. This system provides instant access to all Bids, RFI's, RFP's, Quotes, Addenda and Awards online. In addition to DMB Purchasing Operations, other departments are expected to join in the future.
