New Renaissance Zone Business Park

The Muskegon Area’s newest business and industrial center is located just north of the City of Muskegon. Economic developers are redeveloping this abandoned industrial site into a first-class business park. The site has been designated a “tax-free” Renaissance Zone meaning that companies locating to the site are exempt from real and personal property taxes, the State’s Single Business Tax, and local income taxes through the year 2014. Consistent with the SmartZone development strategy, energy companies are being targeted for locations at this site. For additional information on the site, visit our Business Sites section.
