On September 28, 2006, a group of 38 manufacturers came together at GVSU's Michigan Alternative & Renewable Energy Center to participate in the 1st Annual Manufacturers Summit. The purpose of the summit was to discuss areas of importance to manufacturers in advocacy, training, workforce developement and community development. Mary Robb, MSU Extension Program Director, facilitated the summit and has compiled a report that will be accessible via this website in November. The Summit was sponsored by the Muskegon Manufacturers Council, Muskegon Area First, Muskegon Area Chamber of Commerce, & Michigan State University Extension Program. |
