Quality of Life

Muskegon County has much to offer in terms of “quality of life.” Whether it is arts and culture, seasonal recreation, seasonal sports, fine dining, shopping, or entertainment, Muskegon County offers numerous fun and exciting things to do. With its 3 state parks, 26 miles of sandy beaches, 20 inland lakes, 25 marinas, 18 public golf courses, amusement park, and bike trails, Muskegon is a recreational paradise. Numerous restaurants, antique shops, theaters, bookstores, museums, and cultural centers make Muskegon a great place to spend a rainy (or snowy!) day as well.
